First transport and logistics capacity building training in Tashkent!

In the period of 28 Nov - 1 Dec 2017 in the framework of the project “Strengthening Transport and Logistics BIOs in Central Asia” the first training seminar has started in Uzbekistan, Tashkent.

The seminar main objective is to support local and Business Intermediary Organisations (BIOs) and SMEs of Uzbekistan in organizing of their logistic supply chain, storage and distribution of goods, jobs creation, staff training in the field of transport and warehouse logistics. Thus, stimulating SME growth and export expansion in Central Asia.

During the seminar, participants will conduct two different type of SWOT analysis for their current logistics network and will identify their positioning in the relevant supply chain. Participants are invited to identify the "gaps" between the current and desired performance indicators (qualitative and quantitative) in their logistics business. Additionally, a brief overview of environmental certification and “green cargo”  will be discussed.
